Rebuild Start Menu

This is a discussion about Rebuild Start Menu in the Customization Tweaking category; When I click on Start Menu my programs appear but the links are missing. When the Start Menu expands links say empty. Can anyone help? I tried letting xp repair itself, nothing. Thanks in advance. .
