Recoil Installation
On the list of games, Recoil is shown as being compatible with Windows 2000. Unfortunately, an error message stating that Windows 95 or 98 is required pops up when I try and install it. How do I get around that?.

DosFreak...........
Downloaded and installed the ACT 1.5. I know I probably being very dense here, but I don't see a place to "check 95/98" anywhere in the window copied below.

DosFreak.........
Finally figured out how to implement ACT 1.5 using QFix. Have, however, been unable to get Recoil to load. Have checked both Win95 and Win98 (separately), attempting to initiate Setup.exe off the CD. Program still says I need Win 95/98. Anything else I can try?

OK........I finally figured out I was supposed to make a desktop shortcut to Recoil's setup.exe on the CD, right click the shortcut to get to the compatability tab, etc, etc..... Program appears to have loaded OK.
With that done, I replaced the desktop shortcut to the CD's install exe. file with a shortcut to Recoil.exe on the HD to initiate the program. Unfortunately, while the new shortcut will get me into the game (mouse movement, sound, etc...), when I mouse-click on the <Start> button (or for that matter any game control button), I'm dumped back to the desktop. Sooooooooo, close, but soooooooo far.
Anyone have an idea how to get this thing to run. I think I've done just about everything I know how to do. The game compatibitliy list says it should run!
