recording with sb live

This is a discussion about recording with sb live in the Windows Hardware category; I use my box primarily as a DAW. In win2k I have ZERO problems recording but I want (and expect) to be able to use XP the same way. When I record via ANYTHING in XP I have pops, static and noise galore.

I've installed the latency patch and all the newest Via goodies.

Any suggestions will be GREATLY appreciated!

I have exactly the same problem.
Each time I try to record anything I get pops.

I think it is a sblive! driver problem.
