surely there is a way for me to export the certificates to my desktop from that hdd?
i have never done this before, so any help would be much appreciated!

Thanks

1. Start, Run, MMC.EXE
2. File, Add/Remove Snap in
3. Add, Select 'Certificates'
4. Select 'My user account', Finish
5. Close, OK
6. Expand Personal, Certificates
7. Right click a certificate and select Export
8. Select 'Yes, export the private key'
9. Select type of file e.g. PKCS
10. Enter a password (use a strong password with mix case and digits)
11. Enter filename e.g. efscert
12. Click NExt and Finish
13. Save cert to a floppy or USB stick or somewhere safe (not the HD).
