Red Alert 1 Network

Me and my friend have a problem whit Red Alert1 think the best C&C ever but the problem we were trying to play Red Alert by Lan but other computer could not find the other IPX is istalled and we tryed to run Red Alert on win 2000 compatibility mode and 95 Red Alert it self worked but network.

Wow, I remember playing that one on a 14.4 modem. RA always was fussy about network connections. Westwood Studios improved it with future revisions, but that does not help you out. It has been a while since I used ipx games on a lan, but check to see if you have the netware client installed. Sadly, many of the classics are becoming unusable due to new technology. It may be time to move on to a newer version.

Yes it is pretty sad but we got it working fine it was really easy some adjustment needed we just had to work with RaSetup and change destination address to 00.00.00.00 it take us awhile and some hard time thinking but... it was worth it :): now we are working with C&C trying to make it work on lan inpossible? no just takes some time
