Hi. So i read many of topics which were about RA2 problems and i see that most recent problem is this one with installation. It's easy to solve, but now i've got some more difficult one. I've installed the game, it starts normally(on my other PC it doesn't even enter to main menu) and when i want to play(skramish or campaning) it runs only about 30 or few more seconds and then all my units and buildings just blow up...I don't know what to do. I've tried to change video modes, compatibility and re-install win. NOTHING!! I've got the same problem on other computer too, on which RA2 works fine with Win98. Now it's XP on this one and this other and the game doesn't work:/ Is it possible that version of WinXP is not good?? I've got the same version on PC in other room and game works. Mabye Video card?? I really don't know!! Mabye someone got same problem as mine and could help me. What i have to do??
My computer:
-2.0 GHZ celeron
-30gb HDD
-768MB memory
-Intel 82852/82855 GM/GME Graphic Controler 64MB
Of caurse it is a laptop, but frined of my got the same laptop(we bought it together) and RA2 works perfectly.

If autoexec.nt is missing then thats the cause of the problems as some DOS or 95 games require this to be able to run on XP systems.
You can find a backup copy the config.nt and autoexec.nt files
in c:\Windows\repair. Copy them to your system32 folder.

Do you have a legal copy of Red Alert 2? Basically the exploding units/building is a protection.
