Calling all Nerds and Techies: RE:- REMOTE WEB DESKTOP

I have installed all the bits to allow me to connect from a remote computer through various firewalls/routers/whatever and then onto my Win 2003 IIS box sitting on my home LAN. However when I type in the name/IP address of a machine to connect to on the "Remote Desktop Web Connection internet page", I get the following error.

"The specified remote machine cannot be found. Verify that you have typed the correct computer name or IP address, and then try connecting again."

<I dont wanna have to set up a VPN>

So what's happening?
How can I resolve this annoying fault.

Cobie
..by the way that "nerds and techies" comment was just a gag!

You already configured all those various firewalls, routers, etc. to forward TCP port 80 to your internal computer hosting the website. So now do the same thing with TCP port 3389 for Remote Desktop.
