The problem is this....I downloaded Resident Evil 1 because I wanted to play it again and my cd had too many scratches...so I downloaded it, emulated in Daemon Tools....and put the compatibility mode in the setup Icon (Note: In windows 2k, you need to run a dll in the system32 folder to enable compatibility mode...and the compatibility mode only works in shortcuts), then appears a "preety" red install screen but it nothing appears...I wait and wait....waited 5 minutes, and nothing happened, when i clicked in the start button i saw the other windows, and one of them was an error, but i couldnt see the error because it leaded me to that red screen =(
Then I tried the Aplication Compatibility Toolkit (a mod from this forum said to an other guy that it could get more apps to work and such), and to my surprise, microsoft built a new version of ACT (4.1) that ONLY runs in Windows XP or above, and I cant find ACT 3.0 (that can run in Windows 2k) ANYWHERE!!
Well, ACT doesnt work, Compatibility does not appear to work...what to do? =(
