This is a discussion about Resident Evil 2 in the Windows Games category; I'm in a hurry here so I'm gonna make this short. Resident Evil 2 Runs very slow. I'm running windows xp with my Nvidia 6800 Intel Pentium 4 3. 3 Ghz. Any ideas? In other words very choppy, like it's in slow-motion.

You might want to change out your nVidia drivers. Some work better than others with games. Make sure you have the most recent patches for the game. Finally, some processes running in the background can cause a game to stutter. The usual candidate is anti-virus applications. This is the standard stuff that you are asked to consider doing, and you have probably already done it.

So I haven't changed my nvidia drivers, but I closed all the stuff in the backround, and I didn't help. The game never runs smooth it just stays at about 10 fps. Is there any certain nvidia driver I should try, because I'm not to good with drivers.
