Resident Evil 2
This is a discussion about Resident Evil 2 in the Windows Software category; So I have Resident Evil 2. I have Vista. The game will not play cutscenes on vista. The game has really pixellated models for Leon and Claire when ran on Windows XP (compat mode), but frames per second is great and cutscenes work.
So I have Resident Evil 2.

The game will not play cutscenes on vista.
The game has really pixellated models for Leon and Claire when ran on Windows XP (compat mode), but frames per second is great and cutscenes work.
The game has really fine models for Leon and Claire when ran on Windows 98/95 (compat mode). But entering menus and doors will cause a huge FPS drop for a brief moment. Nothing serious, just really annoying. My system is light years ahead of that game. I don't get why the frame drops.
What can I do to fix it?
I tried installing the v1.04 patches but here's the message I get.
Unable to find file
common\datu\gwarning.adt
So either tell me how to install the patch, or give me a link that has another tried and true patch.
