I saw that earlier. ;(

It is totally beyond my comprehension that anyone who has the intelligence, persistence, and skill to hack a site, can then do that kind of senseless destruction. Just totaly 'DUMB. :x

There's 'one REALLY sick puppy'. ;(

For those of you who can't get to the page because it's down (or if it has since been fixed), what's happened is the hackers have modified the news admin pages so that anyone can add news posts. And that's exactly what a lot of people seem to be doing....

Here's an example of one: http://www.granzeau.com:8080/~gonzo/PR_story.cfm.html (source: Slashdot.org)

* That's the recording industry right? The one's suing everyone over stuff like Napster, KaZaA etc. correct??

P.S.=> Heh, I can understand their viewpoint... they made TONS of their abuse of artists acting as the middlemen controllers of the entertainment industry without any competitors, & now that they have them? They're afraid & their gravy-train of profit is ending... nothing good lasts forever, everyone loves stuff like Napster & KaZaA, they are fighting a losing battle though!

No way to win it...

And, apparently, it looks as if they have ticked someone off large & they blasted them into the dirt!

I agree that these people are real Sh!~s, but, this kind of hack is really bad form.
You think that it's justified this time, but, what if it's NT Compatable next time? 8)
