AOE2 was my favorite RTS game until I tried this, let me know what you think!

The Rise of Nations homepage:
http://www.microsoft.com/games/PC/riseofnations.aspx

And the direct download URL (194MB):
http://download.microsoft.com/download/d...ationsTrial.exe

The reviews are coming in over at Game Rankings:
http://www.gamerankings.com/htmlpages2/21740.asp

And over at FilePlanet (I know, it sucks, etc.) the users are rating it a 4.9/5.0, with >1000 votes.

played it

must say it is great - the only part i hate that MS seem to like doing is putting limits a MAX limit of how many units you can create - a maximum population - i can uinderstand for early in the game, but later one when u have researched all advances just let me make what i want darn it!

other wise addicting - finished it - world conquer as the birtish, now i got to buy the game to play online - is worth ot..lol (yes i could not wait to buy it so i grabbed an "extended" free trial..lol

Wow, that's horrible, it's a complete rip-off of Empire Earth.
