Roaming profiles can't update
This is a discussion about Roaming profiles can't update in the Windows Networking category; Have WinNT4 server w/Win2k clients. All have roaming profiles set up the same way on their local machine and on the server. Two of them get the message Cannot update roaming profile when they log off.
Have WinNT4 server w/Win2k clients. All have roaming profiles set up the same way on their local machine and on the server. Two of them get the message "Cannot update roaming profile" when they log off. All others work properly. Have checked Microsoft support; their recommendation was to install latest SP, which had already been done. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Yes, the permissions are all set the same as all the other profiles that do work right.
I have the same damn problem. I too am running NT Server and Win2K clients and I have the same problem. I also have noticed that some users have the update problem and other do not.
