Run Command

This is a discussion about Run Command in the Windows Software category; Hi Guys, I have a problem with win2k. Whenever I type a path like C:\games in Start>Run Instead of opening the folder, it open the search result window with the path in the Look in Field. This is annoying Please help me fix this.

Hi Guys,
 
I have a problem with win2k. Whenever I type a path like C:\games in Start>Run
 
Instead of opening the folder, it open the search result window with the path in the
"Look in" Field. This is annoying
 
Please help me fix this.

go to your environment variables and add a "path="
use all the paths that u want to run from the run command.
then when u go to run dont type the path just type the command

Well I think I got your answer...
You are typing C:\games
Try typing C:\games\ (use a slash at the end) Doing so opens a new windows explorer window just like you want.
