Run NTVDM.EXE in a separate process..?
This is a discussion about Run NTVDM.EXE in a separate process..? in the Customization Tweaking category; How can i configure Windows 2000 to lauch each new command prompt using a new instance of ntvdm. exe ? DOS apps are never stable at the best of times and it would be useful to know that when im having more than one open at a time, one crash won't bring the whole lot down! Cheers in advance.

Curley_Boy,
You need to change the following registry setting to yes:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\WOW]
"DefaultSeparateVDM"="yes"
