This is a discussion about Running Need For Speed: Porsche 2000 ( NFS 5 ) On XP (if not working) in the Windows Games category; i had this problem, The Game Hangs at startup, on XP, simple to solve, right click on Porsche. exe file, select windows 98 compatible mode, disable display themes Apply. Now its ok!.

i had this problem, The Game Hangs at startup, on XP, simple to solve,
right click on Porsche.exe file,
select windows 98 compatible mode,
disable display themes
Apply.

Now its ok!
