I haven't had any problems myself with games in win2k even undying. I say go for it. or wait for XP.

I tried XP.....HATED IT!!!!! The pretty interface and double the system requirements of 2000 were reason enough to dump it. Easy CD creator hated it also, since XP has built in burning stuff. I had to uninstall Easy CD creator and it wiped out my both my cd rom drives. I couldnt even reinstall them!!! XP is just glorified, simplified 2000.

Undying doesn't work so easy with the f**** win2000. I have this game and needed to download the windows 2000 server pack 2, then download the compatibility pack and run the game behind the cd itself. Other way but I didn't test it was downloading that QFixApp.exe application and running the game.
Enjoy this awesome game in this awful operating system.

I got Windows 2000 SP1 and Undying works without a hitch install and everything. I applied a no-cd crack afterwards so I didn't need the CD, maybe that is the trick here.
