S3 Virge DX drivers for Windows 2000?

This is a discussion about S3 Virge DX drivers for Windows 2000? in the Windows Hardware category; I need the driver for S3 Vurge DX (4 MB) for windows 2000. The NT4 driver doesn't work! I tried both AND and none of them had any drivers beside NT4 ones. .

I need the driver for S3 Vurge DX (4 MB) for windows 2000. The NT4 driver doesn't work! I tried both www.s3graphics.com www.diamondmm.com AND www.driverguide.com and none of them had any drivers beside NT4 ones.

Via KT133A or AMD AMD761???

Try editing the INF

[s3.Mfg]
S3 Incorporated Display Driver v3.23.09 = S3Inc

to

[s3.Mfg]
S3 Incorporated Display Driver v3.23.09 = S3Inc, PCI\VEN_5333

The ones that XP detected worked fine for me.
