Savings themes through Display Properties?

Seems Display Properties NEVER saves any skin/wallpaper combination when I try. . . anyone know why? TIA.

Seems the problem was that I had deleted all the .theme files, and XP didn't want to save any news ones. Solution was to replace the old .theme files and it works now.
