SB Live Under XP Pro
This is a discussion about SB Live Under XP Pro in the Windows Hardware category; I tried playing Deus Ex, and the sound wouldn't work correctly unless under DirectX Diagnostics I put the slider down to BASIC Acceleration. I am using the native XP drivers. How well does XP work with LiveWare 3 with Win2k, I have it on a backup CD? What about that 9 meg driver update over at Creative?.

Creative has released (some days ago) a new driver/liveware set for WinXP ... it's something around 11 MB now. The driver works really good for me and is MS WHQL certified - you should install it.

OP
I snared those drivers and my distorted sound disappeared so I'm happy with that now, I have moved the slider back to Full Acceleration.
