And please support the soldiers as well. I have two friends fighting out of the country. It is unbelieveably hard to be in a foreign culture away from all friends, family and anything familier. If you know people in Iraq or wherever, even remotely, please write them and let them knw that you think of them and appreciate them. Mail call can be either the happiest or most depressing time of the day.


One more thing... Please don't use this thread to rant about the illigitimacy of the Iraq war or the evils of America and the western world.

I have 1 family member and a friend there right now.
 
Mail is great for morale, especially with thier tours being longer then normal
 
Add to that you may have more countries soon sending troops, it's a good idea to let them know you care and you miss them.
