Services in Win2k
This is a discussion about Services in Win2k in the Windows Software category; I disabled a setting in services that i shouldn't have and now my pc is acting up. Distributed Link Tracking Client is the setting disabled. When i go back to enable the setting, the option wont pop up when u click on it and i have to ctrl+alt+delete to exit services.

Anyone else do this before i know how i can fix without having to format?

I always disable that service. Never had any problems, what problems are you facing that require you to re-enable that service?
well now when i go back to services, i click on one to change it but it never pops up for me to change it. Windows Media Player no longer works, always says memory is full. I no longer am able to use cut/copy and paste. Add/Remove Programs no longer shows up......etc.
This sounds more like a corrupted registry then a sevices issue, the problems are most likely symptomatic of this kind of corruption
It would be very beneficial if you posted your errors in the event viewer.
sfc /scannow ?
