hi there,
i was just wondering are you able to help me to setup an ftp server over LAN.
my internet is connected through the main admins computer.
i have a firewall router called Zoom Air wireless networking Internet Gateway model number IG -4165 (connected through the admins pc)
i have forwared and opened the ports for the ftp
( ports 20 and 21) these ports are opened to my very own pc (not the admin)
i have also got an ADSL Modem called Prestige 645 Series Zyxel. this is intalled and connected through the admins pc.
after opening the ports for my computer i then installed Serv - U and followed the instructions.
by now it should work. but it doesn't.
By the way i also have a static ip address and also a LAN IP ADDRESS
please can you help me. i really appreciate it if you could help me out.
regards
Amanda
