shared irqs in w2k how can i seperate them?

,the machine seems to run okay at the moment,it was not so ,until i diabled both com ports to give some more irq space then when i checked the irq situationof all shareing irq7 occurred though i change the setting re the com ports back inthe bios it did no good,all i can say right now is arghhh any advis e appreciated

I had major issues that required a reinstall when I messed with ACPI. If everything runs fine, LEAVE IT ALONE!! It is more trouble in the end, at least in my experience it is. Ive screwed up my system everytime Ive messed with ACPI.
Win2k ignores the BIOS IRQ settings, so you can change them all you want to no effect whatsoever.
