shared printers
This is a discussion about shared printers in the Windows Networking category; i'm having a trouble on my workstation, the thing is that when it boots up i need to connect manually to a shared printer which i use, because when i try to print to the printer without connecting to it before, the program just hangs, and i gotta do it all manually, my question i s if is ther a way, by the win reg, ...
i'm having a trouble on my workstation, the thing is that when it boots up i need to connect manually to a shared printer which i use, because when i try to print to the printer without connecting to it before, the program just hangs, and i gotta do it all manually, my question i s if is ther a way, by the win reg, or a .bat file that could do it all for me (i mean connect to the printer)

Are you using a print server appliance or is it shared on another machine? If shared on another pc, does that pc have proper accounts set up?
