Show Desktop button

This is a discussion about Show Desktop button in the Customization Tweaking category; sorry ppl. . . i moved this icon outta my toolbar by accident onto the desktop and i wanted to know how to get it back there. . . . without leaving the program on the desktop. Runnin win2k. Searched for some pages.

Um... just copy it back into your TaskBar, then delete the one on the desktop. Nothing special needed.

But it makes a shortcut and puts that on the toolbar, then when i delete the file, it searches for it, and cant find it.

Then 'move' it instead. As far as I can tell, its an actual program, a command, that sits on the toolbar rather then a shortcut to anywhere else.
 
If you have 'lost' it, then I'm sure I could mail it you.

in notepad and save it as "C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Application Data\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch\show.scf"
That's it!
