Shutdoff Question

Hey guys. It's been a while. I have a question that I was hoping you could answer for me. My machine no longer shuts off from windows or linux. It just reboots. I have made no hardware changes so I don't think that I would have knocked any cables loose but I have verified the internals as well.

Could this be my power supply malfunctioning?

Thanks folks.

I havn't changed anything in the BIOS in probably 6 months or so. It has been running fine up until a few weeks ago. Because of that and the fact that it happend for both my windows and linux installs at the same time, the only thing that makes sense to me is that there is a hardware problem somewhere...

Well it magicaly worked again yesterday. I have yet to shut it off since then.

I've been meaning to replace my PSU and fans with something much quieter. If this starts up again I might just do that. It's a hassle to replace my psu because I seem to remember having to take everything out of my case to get it out.
