Shutdown Problem with 2495

This is a discussion about Shutdown Problem with 2495 in the Windows Hardware category; I had 2486 installed fine, and just replaced it with 2495, which itself is working fine, except for a few problems. The biggest one being that I can't shut the computer down. It simply restarts on using the Shutdown command.

I had this before on 2462, but didn't have it on 2486 (or 2485).

No changes have been made to the system during all three installs.

Anyone got any idea's what could be causing this?

it seems to start when i installed 12.90 Win2K drivers fr my Elsa 920. May try some other ones- anyone know which GF drivers work for sure in XP?

only cure as far as i know is to delete 2495 which is a POS and install RC1, this for me has cured all my problems, no more shutdown BSODs, and driver supprt is far better- in installed the coorect driver for the modem first time unlike 2495.
