sidewinder force feedback wheel

hey, i have a sidewinder ff wheel (usb) and the latest driver version (4. o) and it doesn´t work correctly with win2000. i play colin mc rae and in the game doesn´t find the wheel. can soebody help me? thanx.

Do you have Direct X 8 installed?

Does it work for any other games?

I have a MS FF Wheel also, and had all sorts of problems till DX8 came out. Now it works great.

Checkout the Codemasters website - the last time I looked they had strange problems with Colin McRae 2 (if that's the version you're playing) and the Microsoft FF Wheel

See if they've done a patch yet to correct it....
