I have the latest service packs, compatibilty updates, drivers, 4-in-1's, etc. I simply can not get my Sidewinder Gamepad (Gameport...the original one) to work on this system. It works perfectly in win98, and people have gotten it to work on win2000, but I just can't seem to fix it. When I click add in gaming options, and select 'Sidewinder (auto-detect)', it detects it as a Sidewinder 3d pro (which it's not) and the status flickers from 'not connected' to 'OK' every few seconds. Anyone got any idea what's going on?

Thanks...

Hi,

I've got a similary problem with my mobo and all my USB périphérals. I don't know if it will help you but perhaps. So Win 2000 couldn't seen my USB port and my periphéral plugs on it. After some long research, I've find the solution by flashing my bios mobo. I've found the new flash of th bios on my constructor site. Now all works great (excepted my Hollywood + rc).

Hope this help you.
