Sims 2 Deluxe Version HELP!

This is a discussion about Sims 2 Deluxe Version HELP! in the Windows Games category; I put the CD into my Dell Optiplex 170L and I click run and type in D:\Autorun and it says Please insert disk into the D drive. I cannot get it to work and have tried on 2 computers. It won't even start installing! What do I do? ! I have Windows XP.

I believe this is a DVD version of the Sims. You need a DVD drive to read it!
