Sims Hot Date/Win XP/ invalid win32 application

This is a discussion about Sims Hot Date/Win XP/ invalid win32 application in the Windows Games category; I'm running on Windows Xp. I've installed Sims HotDate but when i run it I get an error message saying C:\Program. . . \Sims. exe is not a valid Win32 Application. Correct me if I'm wrong but I think its cause the.

I'm running on Windows Xp. I've installed Sims HotDate but when i run it I get an error message saying "C:\Program...\Sims.exe is not a valid Win32 Application". Correct me if I'm wrong but I think its cause the .exe is too old for Xp. Just a thought...
Anyways does anyone know of a way to fix this? Thanks for your help

Or this could mean that the file is corrupted.
Try reinstalling the game.
 
Btw, you do have the orginal game? Because this is just an expansion.

Well, after you have installed the orginal sims, then you install hot date. This upgrades orginal to hot date.
