Slow IE in BETA1 ??

Hi ! I use WinRoute 4. 1 on a NT4 machine. On my desktop machine I installed Whistler BETA 1 and I now got a REALLY slow InternetExplorer. Is there an option to change that makes it soooooo slow. It takes forever to load a site.

Hi !

Is there an option to change that makes it soooooo slow. It takes forever to load a site. Even the portal-page of my own IPS is damn slow. It takes about 10sec until the IE even starts to load sth.

P.S. WinRoute is set up right I guess, cause I never changed anything, and on the other computers it's still fast.

Are you sure its not just your connection to the internet?

IE runs fine on this build 2296 Pro.

OP
THX so far,

might be my own computer, and not Whistler as I though. I figured out that only the DNS look-up takes so long. Loading pages is quick as ever. Is there a DNs system in Whistler PRO that could interfear with the DNS server of WinRoute ?

Anyway thx again

no... but perhaps theres a setting wrong in your setup? Check the DNS servers your using against the ones your ISP says you should be using.. perhaps your primary is timing out, so it has to wait to fall back to the secondary.. or somfin..
