Some Can Install and Some Carn't !!!
This is a discussion about Some Can Install and Some Carn't !!! in the Windows Games category; My GOD DAMN PC pisses me off, I'm able to install games such as CALL OF DUTY, NFS UNDERGROUND and HIDDEN AND DANGEROUS but COLIN McRAE 3, RICHARD BURNS RALLY and FAR CRY fails to even pass through the installation process.

Does your computer meet the minimum system requirements for those games that fail to install?
You will have to give us more information than that if you want us to help. Please provide system specs and we will help out as best we can.

for example after installing Richard Burns Rally and when I launch the game, it prompts 'Wrong Disc Inserted, CD/DVD Not recognised'.
Is this something to do with my CDROM?

If the CD ROM drive is older, it may not be able to read some types of copy protection, which could explain why some games work, and others do not.
