2nd.

3rd.
In the display properties, in the wallpaper-tab.
Usually you have a dragdown-menu to choose "Stretch, Tile, Center"..
I have only to radio buttons where you could choose Tile or Center.
How did that happen? didn't use to be there.
Feels like I have gotten some old system files in my system.
Andone have any help for these problems?

Oh and by the way, I'm running Windows 2000, Service Pack 2.
1. Go to Start -> Settings -> Taskbar & Start Menu -> Advanced, find the tickbox for showing administrative tools and tick it.
2. Have you tried compatibility mode?
3. This can happen if someone has disabled (eg. using TweakUI) the ability to turn on Active Desktop. It switches to the older style display properties dialog box if this has been done.

I have tried that. The "Administrative Tools" IS there, but it is empty. I think I solved it now. I copied the shortcuts from a friend, and putted them in there, it worked. ;P
Another thing I have a problem with in 2000, is that playing DVDs makes whole Windows go slow.. even the DVD.. the sound and video glitches. Anyone has an idea?
I have a Duron800, 392mb RAM, ASUS GeForce2MX, and a DVDrom I just bought, a Pioneer 16x. And I also have a ABit mommyboard.
I have heard that using ABit and ASUS together doesn't usually work good together.

And I have not turned off the ability to have Active Desktop on in TweakUI.
Hmm, though I had turned off the ability to make changes to the active desktop.
