someone help me out please

HI Well as you can see im new to this forum i was having problems with my sound card so i tryed to look for a soloution on yahoo and i came across this site i need help on finding a driver or something that can fix my computer problem i have no sound working from computer not music from my itunes, not from websites ...

i downloaded it but i am not able to install it.
i double click it but nothing happens

Another option is to find your drivers CD that came with the motherboard/system.
 
Is this an Intel motherboard ?!?
 
If so, can you locate the Intel Express Installer CD ?!?
 
This will have the drivers for the onboard AC97 Sound Codec.
 
If this is an OEM machine, like a Dell or HP, then you can usually d/l the drivers from the respective OEM's website as well.
 
Unfortunately, Analog Devices is one of those Codec manufacturers that only deals directly with the motherboard manufacturers and hence don't provide any end user d/l options for device drivers...

why do song play fast
or sound fast
like they sped up or something?

Hi Monica,
Your welcome for the help. I am not sure why the songs have sped up.
I would give Jmmijo's suggestion a try in case the drivers at the other site weren't the correct ones for your operating system.
They were for Win 2000 and Win XP.
