Standard cmos menu:
TYPE SIZE CYLS HEAD PRECOMP LANDZ SECTOR MODE
User 7921 963 255 0 39769 63 LBA
 
The drive seems to work ok even with this settings (XP sees drive as 20Gb)
 
Has anyone had similar problems?
I tested the WD200EB 20GB drive and it works correctly with no problems. It only comes up with the WD205BA. I'm going to test it on another motherboard, but I doub it will show the same error, cos I asume the error is bios related (Yes I have the latest bios). I don't know if this is just a cosmetic error or can it do harm. As a workaround I've set the drive on autodetect, so it's detected on every boot.
