I would think all of that would work. Just make sure to get the latest drivers from the manufacturers site.

If you do the upgrade then it does a compatibility check.

You can use the "win2k readness analyser" or something like that from Microsoft. It's a small program that checks both your hardware and software for possible compatibility problems in case you upgrade to win2k.

Dobly Digital out does not work in w2k,
creative say it might start working with
SP2, something to do with the way ac3 is processed.

Please share your views with us. Many people here are building similar systems with A7V motherboard and ATA 100 HD.
 
My friend has a similar system with a 30 GB Maxtor 7200 RPM HD. As soon as he installs SP1, it starts giving error:
 
INACCESSIBLE BOOT DEVICE
 
Any Suggestions for that?
