My speakers were plugged into the back of my computer where the sound card is. The sound card is integrated and I thnk it's somewhat busted. First, the sound only comes from one speaker while the other has sound but it's very quiet. All my plugs are plugged in tightly and everything looks fine including my volume control settings.

Then I plug it in the front of my computer because there is a earphone port. When I do this, the sound it back to normal. Both speakers have sound at full blast again. Could it be my sound card or anything?

Tell me if I need to post any specs as well.

Thanks

It could be broken or perhaps it could be the rear line out jack itself. Also have you checked the volume control panel applet for proper output as well. Maybe you have one of the common 3D Sound settings turned on, this can sometimes cause sound to be quiet in one speaker and not the other.
