Sound Files...
This is a discussion about Sound Files... in the Windows Software category; I seem to be having a little trouble. . . when I right click on a sound file (MP3, WAV, etc) WINXP takes it upon itself to play the sound file. . . no application controls the sound, and I can't seem to ctrl-alt-del to end task the file.
I seem to be having a little trouble... when I right click on a sound file (MP3, WAV, etc) WINXP takes it upon itself to play the sound file... no application controls the sound, and I can't seem to ctrl-alt-del to end task the file. Anyone know how to stop this from happening?

nope, no open anything, except windows explorer... but how else to get to the files...
