Soundblaster CT4620, CT4670, CT4760 users

This is a discussion about Soundblaster CT4620, CT4670, CT4760 users in the Windows Hardware category; I have the CT4620 card and am very annoyed about the drivers situation, i decided to try the drivers for the Sound Blaster Live! / Value (CT483x, CT478x)card and they have installed fine so far, and seem to be working, though it only installed 2 applications as far as i can tell Hope this helps someone.

actually.. i think i just found an easier way..
open up 'dxdiag' (use the run menu).. and go to the sound tab.
check the string in the device id.

found out i had the full version of the sblive w/o opening the case.
