Soundblaster Live + WinNT4

So yeah winnt4 and sblive won't work properly: As you can see, the driver is listed but I can't select it. I installed the latest version of sound blaster drivers for winnt4. I have a 5. 1 but it said it wasn't 5.

I installed the latest version of sound blaster drivers for winnt4. I have a 5.1 but it said it wasn't 5.1 so I had to install normal live drivers.
 
What's wrong here?

I don't think the Live 5.1 drivers work with normal live, I am not 100 % sure on this though.

Isn't it possible to turn a regular Live! into a Live! 5.1 through something as simple as a driver/firmware upgrade?
