SoundBlaster Live! XP Drivers -- question

This is a discussion about SoundBlaster Live! XP Drivers -- question in the Windows Hardware category; I'm using the native XP drivers for my SoundBlaster Live! Value. Most things work fine. However, I'm trying to do videocapture with 48khz audio (my InstantDVD capture box uses the LineIn of the soundcard to capture audio).

I'm using the native XP drivers for my SoundBlaster Live! Value. Most things work fine.

However, I'm trying to do videocapture with 48khz audio (my InstantDVD capture box uses the LineIn of the soundcard to capture audio). With the native XP drivers, I'm only capable of capturing at 44.1khz.

Will installing the Official Creative XP drivers give me MORE CONTROL over things like this audio capture rate? I want to capture at 48khz audio.

Thanks.

I'm not sure why you are asking, I personally do not know your answer. But why don't you just try the drivers, after all with XP if they don't work you can simply roll them back !!!

Well, I have the official creative drivers, and there is an option in the creative recorder for 48kHz. So I imagine it will work for your stuff too....
