This is a discussion about Sp1 in the Windows Software category; I was recently told that SP1 is already out for XP. Now the person who said this couldn't rmember where he read this so I dont even know if this is true. He said that it wasnt avalable through microsoft yet though.

Ya I know SP2 for 2000 is out. I would like to know about XP.

Read this thread, apparently it's some internal M$ "work in progress".
No SP1 is not yet out. I expect it wont be until a few months after the release date.
Microsoft will wait to see what kind of errors get reported from the masses before releasing the first major patch.
