Yes, but Microsoft has never been on time. I expect it will be released after a month or so.

I guess this is why it's "late"...and all things considered, that's fine for me...I'd rather see it built around 5.5 than 5.01 SP1, which most of not all of us will upgrade from(to 5.5) anyway.

yes, you are right. originally, it was supposed to be 5.01modified b/c 5.5 was "deemped too unstable" but they included it.
It's due out RTM this Monday (July 24) instead. and out to public by Thursday.
