Just decided to drop a note to say i have done all the registry tweaks you listed above. Works great, i do notice web pages load 20-30% faster, downloads ~10% faster. . . , hey every little bit counts on a modem-dialup connection > Lucent 33.

The speedup tweaks works great for me, performance increase especially in dload speeds is very noticable. This is so useful for unfortunate dial-up users like me
Oh another ques.
After applying tweaks, sites like microsoft load really fast but when i ping microsoft.com, i get all request timed out. Why? Is it due to the ICMP redirect tweak?
