stand by in win 2k

This is a discussion about stand by in win 2k in the Windows Hardware category; hello to all, i have a HP VL600 installed win2k pro and win me. although it supports stand by option in win Me it doesnot support in win2k. it says it is acpi compliant. anyone can help me plz?.

this problem could be caused by a driver. Ive had it happen when i was using my old realmagic hollywood+ drivers.
