Star Office 5.2 for Windows

This is a discussion about Star Office 5.2 for Windows in the Windows Software category; Has anyone been able to install Sun's Star Office 5. 2 under WinXP? I attempt to run the setup file and BOOM - the program dies immediately and asks if I want to send an error report. . Sounds like MS put in some SPF 50 SUN-block.
