I just wanted to find out if anybody can help me to get Star Trek - Armada to run under either Windows 2000 Advanced Server or Windows NT 4. 0 Service Pack 9. Hi everybody! I just wanted to find out if anybody can help me to get Star Trek - Armada to run under either Windows 2000 Advanced Server or Windows NT 4.0 Service Pack 9.
Here are my system specs:
Windows 2000 Advanced Server
Service Pack 1
Armada Patch Version 1.2
128 MB RAM
DirectX 8.0a
PII 450
STB nVidia TNT 16 MB
Windows NT 4.0:
Service Pack 9
Armada Patch Version 1.1
128 MB RAM
DirectX version unknown
In Windows 2000, the game starts fine, and starts the intro movie. However, it then pops up a blue screen saying that it's dumping memory to disk, and after the progress meter reaches 100, the computer restarts! I have no idea what I should do. By the way, my CD has the 1.1 patch integrated into it.
In Windows NT 4.0, the game seems to install just fine, but when I insert the CD, it gives me the screen asking me to install, quit, etc... There is no "Play" option! I hope that this has nothing to do with security privelages!
Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

I don't have any clue as to why Armada is not working, I'm just curious as to where you got WinNT Service Pack 9 from
Also, I wasn't aware that Armada could be run on NT4 at all seeing as it uses DirectX quite heavily.
Try the official ST: Armada Forums at http://www.st-armada.com Someone there will probably have a solution for you.
