Star Trek DS9 Dominion Wars
This is a discussion about Star Trek DS9 Dominion Wars in the Windows Games category; I'm having a **** of a time playing this game. The mouse is extremely slow on some of the config screens. I could live with this, but it also does it in-game, making it unplayable. I have a MS IntelliMouse Explorer.
I'm having a **** of a time playing this game. The mouse is extremely slow on some of the config screens. I could live with this, but it also does it in-game, making it unplayable. I have a MS IntelliMouse Explorer. Tried both USB and PS2 connectors, but they yield the same result. Has anyone experienced/fixed this?

Go to the shortcut for the game, right click for properties and the Compatibility tab and select Windows 98/ME
That cures the mouse sluggishness.
Also get the 1.04 patch with fixes some bugs too.

Now if I could get the game to run nicely with AA on my Geforce 3 without it being unplayable, I'd play the game a lot more!
